Venicia attended college later in life, working multiple jobs to pay tuition at UNLV. She became the first person in her family to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, and later a Law Degree. During law school, Venicia completed an externship at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, defending individuals and families against unlawful foreclosures, predatory lenders, and fraud to help provide economic stability and security for their future.After 7 years as a Consumer Rights Attorney at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Venicia transitioned into the role of Director of Development and Community Relations a few years ago.
