Liz served as the State Chapter Lead for Moms Demand Action, the gun violence prevention group, in 2016 and 2017 and as their Communications Lead until Fall 2019. During this time, thousands of Nevadans worked together to get the Background Check Law passed first on the ballot in 2016 and then in the Legislature in 2019.
