Meet Emerge Nevada Alumnae Kelli Kelly, 2020 candidate for Churchill County Commissioner District 3!

Kelli has worn a multitude of hats in her life–working in higher education, ran away on a tallship, cooked on dive boats in the Bahamas, and ultimately earned a degree in the Culinary Arts. After moving to Fallon, Nevada, Kelli found her calling at a farm-to-table restaurant. She was inspired to work with local farmers, ranchers, and value-added producers to promote sustainable agriculture and advocate for eating seasonally and within the foodshed. In her current position at the Fallon Food Hub, Kelli manages a farmers market and a subscription-based farm share program. She is working towards establishing a permanent dedicated facility for the food hub in downtown Fallon.
