With a focus on restoring the City’s fiscal well-being during the years following the Great Recession, Jenny advocated for the adoption of financial safeguards and prudent fiscal policies to make the city more resilient in the event of a next downturn. Jenny championed the preparation of a city master plan and downtown action plan to guide growth and investment decisions. Both as a City Council member and as a Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Governing Board Member and Truckee Meadows Water Authority Board Member, Jenny is a leader in efforts to address the region’s infrastructure shortfalls and housing affordability/supply challenges in this period of robust growth
